Candace Cameron Bure opens up about the challenging moments in her marriage to Valeri Bure as they approach their 30-year anniversary, shedding light on the reality of long-term relationships.
During a recent episode of her podcast, where she hosted former "Bachelor" contestant Madison Prewitt, Candace candidly shared that there have been times in her marriage when they hit some “really low lows.” She described these moments not necessarily as the lowest points but rather as times when they felt stuck in what she called the "shallow of the valley." This metaphor illustrates periods in life that aren't terrible, but certainly aren't fulfilling either.
She reflected, "It’s not the best, but that’s just life. We’ll just kind of go through it." This perspective highlights how couples often navigate through tough phases together.

She recounted how Lev, despite his young age, offered profound insights based on his faith, saying, "I know I haven’t been married... but I don’t need to be married to know what the word of God says." While she praised Lev for his support, Candace also noted that raising children can test a marriage. Furthermore, earlier in the month, Candace opened up about experiencing "times of deep brokenness" throughout her relationship with Valeri. However, she expressed gratitude for their ability to rebuild their marriage, attributing their resilience to their faith in God, saying, "God is in the restoration business ... He loves to restore and make all things new, and He certainly has."
