Today, Jeff Pu backed up this viewpoint with a research note following Apple’s latest earnings call. His team conducted a thorough analysis of the supply chain and found that Apple has implemented several cost management strategies ahead of this fall’s iPhone release. Pu states that Apple’s objective is to keep the starting prices of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max “unchanged or at a comparable level” to their predecessors. This would translate to starting prices around $1,099 for the Pro model and $1,199 for the Pro Max model.
Should Apple succeed in maintaining these prices, they could gain a competitive edge, especially if rival companies feel pressured to adjust their pricing strategies.
