Tom Moloughney, a tech enthusiast and host of the State of Charge YouTube channel, is reviewing the Yarbo Snow Blower, a 230-pound robot that can chuck snow over 40 feet and charges in an hour and a half. The storm dumped about six inches of snow in Moloughney's town, providing the perfect opportunity to test the bot's capabilities. Despite some setup issues and GPS connectivity challenges, the robot worked through the night, clearing snow from Moloughney's driveway, walkway, and garage area. Moloughney praised the robot's performance, calling it 'kicking ass', and highlighted its ability to handle a 6,000 sq.ft. driveway during a major winter storm. However, he noted that the robot struggled with hail and ice in previous storms, leaving a sheet of ice on the driveway before clearing the snow. Moloughney and Yarbo did not respond to Business Insider's requests for comment.
